    • Swapping a Magnuson TVS2300 onto a C7 Corvette Z06 LT4 pays big dividends with 826 rwhp and 877 lb-ft of rear wheel torque

The TV1740 from Eaton that the LT4 is equipped with from the factory is quite simply too small. Yes, the response is great but it mostly likes to light the rear tires up before dying off up top. Plus it is spun so hard it generates a lot of heat.

Why do you think GM went to a 2.65 liter blower on the ZR1's LT5? It makes a big difference in power.

Swapping the LT4's baby sized blower out for a larger unit makes a big difference. This is a TVS2300 which is over half a liter larger. That displacement advantage shows:

The full graph unfortunately is not posted but that torque curve is large, nice, and flat up past 5500 rpm with the car making 826 horsepower to the wheels at 5800 rpm.

The torque figure is an insane 877 lb-ft at the wheels and it comes in at 3800 rpm. This thing must kick like a mule.

The nice thing is the TVS2300 is an easy and dare we say it affordable swap. Keeping the LT4 on the factory blower is a waste of potential.

      Bring on the 2650 Magnuson...

That car also has about $4000 in headwork. There is a bit more to it than just swapping a blower.

The headwork is specified but the point is the TVS2300 swap is affordable, easy, and painless: https://www.caddyboost.com/content.p...grade-for-4995
